3D doodle #1
Pose practice (sports).
After watching the awesome SEMI-PERMANENT 2013 Titles by Danny Yount I wanted to give one of the shots a go in 3D and After Effects for practice.
Music: Kings of Convenience - Misread
Quick compilation of the Muybridge roto course (frame-by-frame animation in Maya without the graph editor). This was the first time I worked with a full body rig. Some of them should be viewed frame-by-frame and some are very rushed. Uploading for archive.
Work in progress of a floating mask character (???) I’m going to build in 3D. I want to try out a different way of modelling in Maya using image-planes that I can render out as separate layers for some cool compositing. Fun!
So far so good! http://pinterest.com/joostjordens/
I’m also working on this rig in maya.
Imagedump 02 - 30 Jan 2012
Forcing myself to upload (read: archive) just about anything. So that includes a bunch of poop.
Old picture (2009) I stumbled on while searching through my old harddisk. Me and my dad made this panorama on top of the village Usson in France. I totally ruined it with some horrible vintage style color grading though. I can’t find the original.
First time with (traditional) acrylics after I don’t know how many years.
Random sketches I’ve made for the sake of drawing during the christmas holiday. Nothing serious, but I’m liking the fineliners for sketching!
First colorscript thumbnails (background & layout seminar at school), some more of those random sketches and I’ve tried TVPaint today.
Oh, check out this tune! Jon Kennedy - I Feel The Weight (credits to Masoud)
Last summer I’ve had an amazing trip to Norway together with a friend and my cousin. During the last part of the trip we were invited to stay with one of my cousins norwegian friends and his family. For almost an entire week! We decided to send some dutch cheese and I made this little ‘thank you’ note to go with it.
